Youth Programs

These programs are aimed at providing young climbers from ages 8-17 with an in depth experience into the sport of climbing.

Our climbing teams feature a structured and goal driven environment to immerse young climbers in the world of sport climbing. (see details below)

Youth Teams

Our teams are divided by goal destination not age (ages are combined; 8-17). This separation allows our coaches to give a proper level of attention and programming specific to the respective team’s practice.

Practices alternate between bouldering and rope climbing, and a workout for general fitness.

We aim to make at least one trip to climb outdoors each month for team members. We have been to Sand Rock (Cherokee Rock Village), Tennessee Wall, Foster Falls, Obed, Horse Pens 40, Rock Town, Stone Fort (Little Rock City), and Boat Rock (local to Atlanta near Six Flags).

Recreational Team

The goal of this team is to educate youth climbers and immerse them in the sport of climbing with peers who want to climb for fun and be proficient. They will learn climbing specific vocabulary, climbing safety, and technique to aid their climbing journey beyond the walls of our gym.

Recreational Team practices Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30PM - 6:00PM and 5:30 - 7:00

Advanced Team

The goal of this team is to get your climbers immersed in the sport of climbing with peers and work towards a higher level of performance. We hope to catalyze an environment where they push each other to meet their goals and grow together. They will learn advanced climbing vocabulary, climbing safety and risk assessment, and technique to aid their climbing journey into USA Climbing competitions and great outdoor climbing adventures.

Advanced Team practices Monday and Wednesday from 5:00PM - 7:00PM

Anyone interested in having their climber join one of our climbing teams should reach out to wallcrawlerrc@gmail.com to discuss whether the team would be a good fit their climber.
